In an attempt to get more people to play football the English FA has made this hilarious video spoofing Nike’s recent Take It To The Next Level campaign. I’m not sure if it will convince people to get out and join a team, but it made me laugh.

Director Ken Loach’s dark comedy Looking for Eric is a story about a Manchester postman going through a nervous breakdown. As his life is crumbling around him, a poster of Eric Cantona comes to life and guides him through his crisis. The film has garnered rave reviews and is a favorite to win the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival. Who knew Cantona could act after watching those Nike Joga Bonito commercials?

Since Bayern München is an Adidas sponsored club, paranoid Bayern supporters are taking this as a sign that he will leave to play for a Nike team such as Barcelona or Manchester United.
