Should have stayed in MLS?
After finding playing time hard to come by at Villareal, Jozy Altidore is going to spend the second half of the season at second division Xerez. Switching Benfica for Monaco hasn’t helped Freddy Adu get off the bench. And Maurice Edu is finding that his summer move to Rangers isn’t all that he must have hoped for. I feel that these three, and other young American players, would be better served by getting regular match experience in MLS rather than riding pine in Europe. What do you think?

Recently, Brentford Bees manager Andy Scott described the January transfer window as “a free for all,’ and that “the only people who win are the agents.”Arsene Wenger chimed in by saying that it “unsettles” players. In reality very few significant moves actually occur during the January transfer window, and it’s mostly gossip and loan deals involving 17 year-old Eastern Europeans. So Today’s Question is should the January transfer window be scrapped? What system would you like to see in its place?

Bees man not a fan.
