As most everyone knows by now, Chelsea’s John Terry cheated on his wife with ex-teammate Wayne Bridge’s girlfriend and baby momma, Vanessa Perroncel. While this story is incredibly funny and far from over (plus, we’ve yet to give our take on the matter…stay tuned), Dublin’s FM104 has produced a little ditty that sums up the situation thus far.

A few weeks ago we shared with you video footage of Stuttgart goalkeeper Jens Lehmann ‘taking care of business‘ during a Champions League match. If you thought his ‘discreet’ moment was crazy, Auckland City keeper Paul Gothard one upped him during the FIFA Club World Cup. I hope that nobody went down in the box after this display.

Nice, but is it football worthy?

The logo for the first European championship held in Eastern Europe has been unveiled. While I find the tulips cute (perhaps a little too cute for a football tournament), I don’t think it’s as cool as the logos for 2008 or 2004. The logo was designed by Portuguese firm Futurebrand, who also designed the logos for the Champions League and Europa League. So take a look and let’s us know what you think.

Stuttgart’s keeper, the always entertaining Jens Lehmann, couldn’t wait for a break in action during yesterday’s Champions League match against Unirea Urziceni to relieve himself. Instead, the crafty veteran decided to duck behind the advertising signs to take care of business. Unfortunately, it looks like the former Arsenal man couldn’t fully shake it out before action headed back his way.

A while back we posted footage of University of New Mexico defender Elizabeth Lambert going a little crazy during a match. Lest you think that was a onetime deal in US women’s collegiate soccer, we have footage from last weekend’s championship game. This time it’s Stanford’s national player of the year candidate Kelley O’Hara who forgets the rules of the game.

Here’s something you don’t see everyday. Italian Serie B side Ascoli let opponents Reggina score after deciding their own opening goal had been unsporting. Reggina’s Carlos Valdez had been trying to kick the ball out of play after realising he was injured, but Vincenzo Sommese, unaware of the injury, intercepted the ball and moments later Mirko Antenucci scored for Ascoli. Their attempt at fair play didn’t go unpunished. Ascoli went on to lose 3-1.

For some reason, she loves Brand and West Ham.

In case you didn’t know, Katy Perry has stopped kissing girls in favor of English (ahem) ‘funnyman’ and West Ham supporter Russell Brand. And while we all expected her to catch something from him, we didn’t expect it to be Irons fever. As if showing up at  the MTV EMAs in a West Ham corset wasn’t enough, she recently posted this rousing rendition of ‘I’m Forever Blowing Bubbles’ on the web. Enjoy.

I don’t think I’ve ever watched a minute of  women’s college soccer, but if this is what goes on during the course of a match, I’m all in. In the Mountain West Conference semi-finals (high stakes stuff indeed) University of New Mexico Lobo defender Elizabeth Lambert went a little Teen Wolf (not in a good way) on the pitch. After watching her numerous transgressions, it made me wonder what took the referee so long to send her off. Of course, Lambert has since issued an apology.

Cristiano Ronaldo sings for his supper (and a few million euro, I’m sure) in a commercial for Portuguese bank Banco Espírito Santo. We always knew his musical tastes were a bit dodgy, and the ad proves that his vocal skills aren’t that great either. Enjoy and cover your pets ears.
